Christo Jansen van Vuuren

Christo Jansen van Vuuren is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in railway signalling. Currently serving as a Principal Signals Engineer at KiwiRail since August 2021, Christo has progressed through various roles including Senior Signals Engineer and Signal Engineer. Prior to this, Christo refined expertise at Transnet Freight Rail from October 2012 to May 2021, holding positions such as Senior Signal Engineer (Acting) and Graduate Engineer in Training (Railway Signalling). Christo holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Johannesburg, earned between 2008 and 2012, and completed secondary education at Hoerskool Bastion from 2003 to 2007.
