Melissa Silver

Melissa Silver is a seasoned professional in student services and employment support, currently serving as the Director of Student Services at The New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative (NewBoCo) since April 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Business Development Specialist at Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation from May 2017 to April 2022, Lead Employment Specialist at Career Connections/Goodwill of the Heartland from June 2011 to May 2017, and Employment Specialist at Career Connections/Goodwill from June 2007 to April 2011. Earlier in the career, Melissa held the position of Case Manager/Housing Counselor at Shelter House in Iowa City from June 2001 to May 2007. Melissa obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Iowa, completing studies between 2000 and 2005.
