Mark Warnock

Mark Warnock is an experienced professional in network management and data systems, currently serving as the Network Manager at Newcastle University since June 2024, marking a return after 22 years. Prior to this role, Mark held various leadership positions at NBS from August 2014 to April 2024, including Head of Data and Security and Head of Business Systems. Mark's career also includes a significant tenure at RIBA Enterprises Ltd, where roles spanned from Business Systems Manager to Software Development Manager between 2002 and 2014. Mark's early career featured research associate positions at Newcastle University and post-doctoral research focusing on autoimmunity and cardiovascular disease. Mark earned a PhD in Arthritis from the University of Bristol and a BSc in Immunology from the University of Glasgow.
