Adnan Zaman

Adnan Zaman is an experienced professional in social performance and community relations within the mining and energy sectors. Currently serving as Social Performance Superintendent at Newmont Corporation, Adnan leads social performance efforts at the Red Chris Mine in British Columbia. Previously, Adnan held the position of Community Relations Superintendent at IAMGOLD Corporation, overseeing community and Indigenous relations at the Côté Gold Mine. Adnan's experience also includes roles at Alamos Gold Inc. as a Community Relations Specialist, and ERM as a Consultant focused on social performance and ESG reporting. Prior to these positions, Adnan worked with Chevron in various capacities, including Social Investment Manager and Senior Coordinator for Community Engagement, effectively managing social investment portfolios and community relations. Adnan's academic background includes a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability from the University of Toronto, a Master's in Development Studies from BRAC University, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Khulna University.
