David Gaudreau

David Gaudreau is a seasoned mining industry professional with extensive experience in leadership and engineering roles. Currently serving as General Manager at Newmont Corporation since September 2017, previous titles include Deputy General Manager, Director of Underground Mining, and Director of Mining Australia. Prior to this, David worked at Golder Associates as a Principal Rock Mechanics Engineer, focusing on site work across Australia, Indonesia, India, and other regions. David's career also includes a tenure at BHP Billiton, where various positions encompassed Business Transformation Program Manager and Registered Mine Manager. Starting in the industry at Noranda as a Senior Ground Control Engineer, David holds a Master of Business Administration from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and both M.A.Sc. and B.Eng. degrees in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal.
