Dale Walker

Dale has 15 years’ experience in programme delivery and as a senior manager within the IT (Information Technology), OT (Operational Technology) and project portfolios. Dale has experience in driving benefits across digital transformation, cultural change and cyber security. Dale is currently Head of the Smart Operational Technology team for Welsh Water which, in addition to the business-as-usual role, focuses on the creation and delivery of Smart water digital strategy. Some of Dale’s core skills are in digital transformation, business change and transformation, IT and OT service management and cyber security including ISO27001. Dale has lived in South Wales all his life, is passionate about the local and global environment, supporting the most vulnerable, reducing social inequality and embracing technological change to support businesses and communities to allow them to flourish. Dale lives with his family in Pontypool and is familiar with working in a customer service environment, which is both regulated and scrutinised for quality of service.
