Aoife Hyde

Aoife Hyde is a professional with extensive experience in policy and public affairs, currently serving as the Senior Policy & Public Affairs Manager at News UK since November 2022. Prior to this role, Aoife held various positions at Ofcom from September 2018 to November 2022, including Strategy & Policy Manager, Strategy & Policy Associate, and Graduate Policy Associate, where significant contributions included leading research for Ofcom’s Annual Report on the BBC. Earlier positions include serving as a Research Assistant at Trinity College Dublin, where Aoife organized an international law conference, and as a Policy and Research Intern at the Irish Penal Reform Trust, where policy advocacy was a key focus. Aoife holds a Master of Science in Social Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Oxford.
