Gibson Prichard

Gibson Prichard possesses extensive experience in broadcast engineering and technology management, currently serving as the Director Of Engineering and Technology at WTVF NewsChannel 5 Network since December 2006, overseeing the technology infrastructure for one of the nation's leading CBS affiliates. Previously, Gibson held the position of Event Frequency Coordinator for the NFL from August 1999 to May 2022, ensuring seamless wireless communications during Tennessee Titans games at Nissan Stadium. Gibson also contributed to the industry as Assistant Chief Engineer at WZTV from February 1997 to November 2006, supporting Avid non-linear editing systems and managing technical operations across multiple stations. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Engineer at WRLT, where responsibilities included managing technical needs for a cluster of FM stations. Gibson Prichard earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Mississippi State University, following completion of secondary education at St. Andrew's Episcopal High School.
