Katarzyna Klimkiewicz-Deplano

Katarzyna Klimkiewicz-Deplano currently serves as the Europe Region Chair and is a member of the International Board of Directors and EMEA Board at Nexia since November 2021. As a Founding Partner at Nexia Advicero since April 2012, Katarzyna specializes in Strategic Tax Advisory, Accounting and Payroll, and consults for new businesses and investors in the Polish market, with notable expertise in Real Estate, Renewable Energy, and Retail industries. Previous experience includes roles as Partner and Senior Manager at TPA Horwath from February 2006 to March 2012, Tax Adviser at Ernst & Young from July 2002 to January 2006, Tax Consultant at Arthur Andersen Sp.z o.o. from December 2000 to June 2002, and an intern at Procter & Gamble in 2000. Early career included a consulting position at Citibank Polska SA in 1999. Katarzyna holds a master’s degree in Economics from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and has completed executive education in Organizational Leadership at INSEAD Business School, alongside a postgraduate focus in European Law. Proficient in English, German, and Italian.
