John Mabe

John Mabe is a seasoned lawyer with extensive experience in the construction industry, representing owners, design professionals, general contractors, and subcontractors across the Triangle region and North Carolina. Currently, John Mabe has been with Nexsen Pruet, PLLC, since February 2011, focusing on construction-related legal matters, real estate dispute resolution, and commercial law, while also working as a Certified Mediator. Prior to this, John Mabe served as a partner at Maupin Taylor, later Williams Mullen, from January 1998 to January 2011, and spent significant time at Manning Fulton & Skinner from 1980 to 1997. John Mabe earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1977 to 1980 and an AB in Philosophy from the same institution from 1973 to 1977.
