Raghavender Sahdev

Raghavender Sahdev is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader with a focus on autonomous systems and computer vision. As the Co-Founder and CEO of NuPort Robotics since March 2019, Raghavender has been instrumental in establishing Canada's first autonomous trucking company. Raghavender has also held several positions including NextAI Alumni Representative and Plug and Play Entrepreneur, alongside experiences with UC Berkeley's SkyDeck and as an advisor for VUME Inc. Previous roles include Senior Computer Vision Research Engineer at Huawei Technologies, where Raghavender contributed to cutting-edge face detection technology, and AI Scientist in Residence at NEXT Canada, providing support in robotics and machine learning ventures. Raghavender's academic background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from York University and studies at the University of Toronto and the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
