Evan Leary

Evan Leary is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury management, investment banking, and structured finance. Currently serving as Senior Director of Treasury at NextEra Energy, Inc., Evan previously held the position of Investment Professional at Goldman Sachs, where leadership was provided in executing and managing a range of financing solutions for energy clients. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior Vice President at Macquarie Group, focusing on investments across capital structures and various industries, including oil and gas, infrastructure, and telecom. Additional roles at Stifel Nicolaus and Legg Mason provided foundational experience in corporate investment banking and municipal advisory services. Evan holds a Master's Degree in Economics from Université libre de Bruxelles and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University.
