Simon Oberhollenzer

Simon Oberhollenzer is a Project Engineer I at NGI - Norwegian Geotechnical Institute since March 2023, specializing in Onshore Foundations. Prior experience includes serving as a Research and Teaching Assistant at IBG @ TU Graz from March 2018 to February 2023, focusing on soil mechanics and foundation engineering. Simon has also worked as a Project Engineer at GDP ZT GmbH in geotechnical engineering and held roles as an intern in hydraulic engineering at SKI GmbH + Co.KG and in safety & fire protection at Ingenieurteam Bergmeister. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Soil Mechanics from Technische Universität Graz, in addition to a Master of Science in Geotechnical and Hydraulic Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution. Simon also studied Geotechnical Engineering during a semester abroad at the University of Calgary.
