David Ávila Cruz

David Ávila Cruz is an experienced MLOps Engineer currently employed at NIBC Bank since November 2024, and serves as a Graduate University Lecturer at Universidad ICESI, focusing on MLOps and GenAI in the Data Science Master's program. Prior to these roles, David worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Picnic Technologies, and as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Factored, where contributions included the development of an ML platform and model monitoring workflows. Throughout their career, David has also held various roles in machine learning, education, and tutoring, showcasing expertise in programming, data analysis, and computational analysis. David holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes.
