Lucas Ruland

Lucas Ruland is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as the Director of Infrastructure & Renewables at NIBC Bank NV since 2002. Ruland has a strong background in origination and execution of transactions within digital infrastructure and renewables, alongside previous roles focused on corporate lending, leveraged finance, and managing business sectors within NIBC Bank and Deutsche Bank. Ruland held various leadership positions, including Co-Head of Industries & Manufacturing in Germany, where responsibilities included overseeing credit origination and execution in the industrial sector. Ruland began a career at Deutsche Bank, advancing from a portfolio manager to a vice president in leveraged finance. Ruland holds a master’s degree in economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
