Awan Roy

Awan Roy is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the healthcare and oncology software sectors. Currently serving as VP and Head of India GTC at NICE Ltd since March 2021, Awan previously held senior leadership roles at Varian Medical Systems for over 13 years, where responsibilities included leading global teams to develop innovative software platforms that enhance cancer care management and overseeing the growth of the Pune R&D site into a Center of Excellence. Prior experience includes key engineering and program management positions at Siemens Healthineers and Siemens Information Systems Ltd, as well as early career work as a scientist at the Defence R&D Organization. Awan holds an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, along with an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Indore and Delhi University, respectively.
