Jordan Olson

Jordan Olson, PE, currently serves as a Senior Engineer at Nilles Associates since December 2024, with prior experience as a Senior Engineer for the City of Urbandale from March 2019 to November 2024, where responsibilities included reviewing development plans and overseeing the city's ADA Transition Plan. Jordan's engineering career includes roles as an Associate Engineer in Land Development at Olsson Associates, Project Engineer at Bartlett & West, and Engineer I at Anderson-Bogert Engineers & Surveyors, Inc. Additionally, an engineering internship was completed at the City of Ames' Water & Pollution Control Department, assisting with water and wastewater systems maintenance and flood recovery efforts. Jordan began the engineering journey as an Engineering Technician at Bartlett & West. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University, obtained between 2007 and 2011.
