Andrei Lapets

Andrei Lapets currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Nillion and as the Chief Science Officer and Co-Founder at Choose K, both since July 2024. Additionally, Andrei holds the position of Member and Technical Committee Chair on the Board of Directors for the MPC Alliance, contributing to the promotion of secure multi-party computation technologies since December 2021. As Principal at Reity LLC since November 2019, Andrei provides consulting services focused on bridging computer science research and its practical applications. Previous roles include Vice President of Engineering & Applied Cryptography at Magnite and Chief Science Officer & Co-Founder of Nth Party, Ltd., which was acquired by Magnite. Andrei has also held various academic positions at Boston University, including Founding Director of the Software & Application Innovation Lab and Associate Professor of the Practice in the Department of Computer Science. Andrei's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Boston University and degrees from Harvard University in Computer Science and Mathematics.
