Myron Peck

Myron Peck is an esteemed biological oceanographer currently serving as the Head of the Department of Coastal Systems at NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research since September 2020. With a focus on the influence of environmental and anthropogenic factors on marine species, habitats, and social-ecological systems, Myron Peck brings significant expertise to marine research. Prior to this role, Myron Peck was a Professor of Biological Oceanography at the University of Hamburg from June 2012 to September 2020. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography obtained from the University of Rhode Island's Graduate School of Oceanography between 1994 and 2002.
