Steven Madrid

Steven Madrid currently serves as the Director, Head of Corporate Legal at Nium, where responsibilities include establishing a corporate legal function focused on IPO readiness, corporate development, and global governance, while also leading legal aspects related to IP and employment matters. Prior experience includes positions as Associate General Counsel at Coinbase, managing securities, governance, and corporate finance functions, as well as Corporate and Crypto Counsel at Block, with a focus on SEC filings. Earlier in their career, Steven worked as an Associate at Latham & Watkins, representing clients in capital markets transactions, and held various roles at Regional Cardiology Associates, including Clinical Supervisor. Steven holds a Juris Doctor degree from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History from California State University-Sacramento.
