Tom Plaggemars

Tom Plaggemars is an experienced sales professional currently serving as the Regional Sales Manager for NKK Switches since January 2024. Prior to this role, Tom held the position of Regional Sales Manager at Meritek Electronics Corporation for a brief period from November 2023 to January 2024. From January 2009 to November 2023, Tom was the President-Owner of Crossroads Electronic Marketing Inc., specializing in professional sales representation within the electrical and electronic markets. Tom also has a diverse background in sales management, having worked as a Branch Manager at RS Electronics - USA (2006-2007), Field Sales representative managing the Orlando-Tampa territory at Wes-Garde Components (1997-2005), and a Sales Engineer managing the Florida territory at Weidmuller (2001-2003). Tom’s earlier career included positions as an Inside Sales Representative at Control Design Supply (1984-1996) and Counter Sales at Fitzpatrick Electric Supply (1980-1983). Tom holds an Associate of Arts degree from Rollins College (1994-1996) and is a graduate of West Ottawa High School in Holland, MI (1979-1981).
