Joel Howard

Joel Howard has extensive experience in the electrical industry, specializing in cable splicing and underground electrical operations. Currently serving as a Cable Jointer at NKT since August 2024, Joel's previous roles include a Journeyman Cable Splicer-Specialist at Detroit Edison-DTE Energy, where responsibilities included leading crews, training apprentices, and managing complex electrical systems. Additional positions include Certified Cable Splicer at Energy Group, Inc., Wind Turbine Cable Splicer at MJ Electric, and High Voltage Cable Splicer at Prysmian Power and Cables. Joel is well-qualified with certifications such as an Underground Journeyman Cable Splicer License, Manhole Rescue Safety, and a CDL Class A, among others.
