Cornel Vlad

Cornel Vlad is an experienced maritime professional with a strong background in dynamic positioning operations. Currently serving as SDPO at Noble Corporation since January 2023 and at Maersk Drilling since March 2022, Cornel has held various significant roles, including DPO and Master SDPO at notable companies such as Seadrill, GSP Holding SA, and BOURBON. Cornel's career spans over a decade, beginning with positions at Bourbon Offshore Greenmar, Ocean Rig, and culminating in leadership roles as a Master Mariner. Educationally, Cornel Vlad holds a Bachelor's degree in Navigation and Maritime Transport from Constanta Maritime University, earned between 2000 and 2005.
