Elisabeth Ytteborg

Elisabeth Ytteborg is a seasoned researcher at Nofima, contributing to the field of molecular characterization related to temperature-induced vertebral fusions in Atlantic salmon since September 2006. Elisabeth has also served as a board member at Briskebyveien 26 AS from 2007 to 2012 and as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer at Dykkersport AS between 2000 and 2008. Additional experience includes technical roles at Akershus Universitetssykehus and the University of Oslo. Elisabeth holds a PhD in molecular biology from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, as well as advanced degrees in microbiology and molecular biology from the University of Oslo, alongside extensive scuba diving training through PADI. Continuous education in microscopy and participation in a knowledge group further enhance Elisabeth's expertise.
