Lill-Heidi Johansen

Lill-Heidi Johansen has extensive experience in the field of fish health, having served as Forskningssjef Avd Fiskehelse and Forsker at Nofima since March 1995, with research focus areas including virology, immunology, salmon diseases, infectious models, and interactions between viruses and hosts. Prior experience includes a role as a researcher at Alpharma from March 1994 to March 1995, specializing in bacteriology and the characterization of Yersinia and Pasteurella species, as well as a research assistant position at the Research Foundation at the University of Tromsø from September 1993 to January 1994, where immunological studies with salmon macrophages were conducted. Lill-Heidi Johansen holds a Cand. scient degree in aquaculture from UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, completed between 1987 and 1993, and has furthered education at BI Norwegian Business School from 2010 to 2011.
