Klaus Doppler

Klaus Doppler currently serves as the Head of the Wi-Fi Center of Excellence and Chief Architect for Wi-Fi at Nokia since March 2024. Prior to this role, Klaus held the position of Chief IoT Architect at Nokia Technologies from January 2021 to April 2024 and led the Connectivity Lab at both Nokia Bell Labs and Nokia Technologies from 2014 to 2022. Klaus's expertise in wireless research includes significant contributions to LTE, WLAN, and 5G technologies while serving as Director of Radio Communications. Earlier in the career at Nokia Research Center, Klaus led a research team focused on wireless systems and contributed to novel radio concepts in cellular systems as a Principal Researcher. Academic credentials include a PhD in Signal Processing in Wireless Communications from Aalto University and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Graz.
