Ishrat Jahan

Ishrat Jahan is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of International Programs at Nomi Network since June 2022, where oversight of Country Teams in India and Cambodia focuses on implementing Workforce Development Programs and Adolescent Girls Empowerment Programs for at-risk women and girls. Prior to this role, Ishrat worked as a Higher Education Consultant and Senior Manager for North America at Sannam S4 from October 2020 to June 2022. Ishrat also held the position of Regional Director for South and Central Asia within EducationUSA at the Institute of International Education from March 2013 to March 2020, providing strategic guidance and budget oversight. Previous roles include EducationUSA Outreach and Program Coordinator at the U.S. Department of State's Embassy in Dhaka, and a Teaching Assistant at the International School Dhaka, along with experience as a Consultant in Media and Communication at MERRILL LYNCH & Co. Ishrat holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Rutgers University.
