Han Traast

Han Traast is an experienced anesthesiologist who has worked at Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep since 1994, where until January 2020, served as head of the resident training program. Traast is also a co-founder of Anesthesie Service Nederland, a mobile anesthesia team providing out-of-hospital anesthetic solutions. Areas of interest include general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, and trauma care. Traast retired as a senior anesthesiologist from Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep on July 1, 2021. Educational qualifications include an MD from the University of Amsterdam (1976-1984) and completion of the Anesthesiology Residency Program at Academisch Medisch Centrum Amsterdam (1986-1990).
