Kjersti-Gro Lindquist

Kjersti-Gro Lindquist is a seasoned financial expert with extensive experience in macroeconomic policy and financial stability. Currently serving as a Special Adviser at Norges Bank since January 2012, Kjersti-Gro focuses on macro prudential policy. Previously, Kjersti-Gro held the position of Vice President at COWI AS, where responsibilities included developing the Economics business area within the consulting firm. Earlier roles at Norges Bank included Assistant Director, overseeing a comprehensive modelling project aimed at financial forecasting and evaluation, and Director, with responsibilities for the Financial Institutions Department and the bi-annual Financial Stability Report. Kjersti-Gro's career began as a Research Economist at Statistics Norway, conducting empirical research and modeling activities. Kjersti-Gro holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oslo and additionally undertook Ph.D. studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
