Kristine von Krogh

Kristine von Krogh is a researcher with extensive experience in animal welfare, particularly focusing on fish welfare, including aspects such as aversion, stress, behavior, euthanasia, and anesthesia. Currently, Kristine is employed at Animalia, conducting research on animal welfare since August 2022. Prior to this role, Kristine worked at von Krogh Consult, contributing to research efforts and engaging in data analysis, statistics, scientific writing, and lecturing from February 2021 to August 2022. Additionally, Kristine served as a panel member for both the Federation of European Laboratory Animal Science Associations and the Norwegian Scientific Committee for Food and Environment, addressing issues related to laboratory fish and gene editing techniques from 2018 to 2021. Kristine's academic background includes a PhD in Fish Physiology from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and previous roles in teaching and research at various educational institutions.
