Oskars Cakuls is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as GBS Director at Norit Activated Carbon since August 2021, Oskars has formerly held several key roles at Cabot Corporation from August 2014 to March 2022, including GBS Lead - Norit and GL Manager EMEA & NA/RTR Automation Lead. Oskars has demonstrated expertise in leading teams, managing complex finance processes, and overseeing successful transitions of accounting functions, achieving high employee satisfaction and internal customer feedback. Prior experience includes roles at Transcom WorldWide SA, SES Astra, Kaupthing Life & Pension, Tukuma Piens, and Procter & Gamble, with significant contributions to process automation and financial reporting improvements. Oskars holds a Master's in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and a Bachelor's in Management, Finance & Accounting, alongside completion of an online program in Corporate Innovation from MIT Sloan Executive Education.
