Josh Leong

Josh Leong has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Josh is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Normal Corporation since March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Managing Partner at Surf Club Ventures starting from March 2021.

From 2017 to 2021, Josh worked at Google as a Shorts Enthusiast, where they were involved in product strategy, design, machine learning, and vision research for Google Assistant, Maps, Ambient Computing, and Home.

Before joining Google, they were associated with Airbnb as an Extra in 2016. Prior to that, they served as the CEO of Grid from 2012 to 2016.

Josh's early career includes roles at Microsoft, where they worked as a Software Designer from 2010 to 2012, a Software Engineer from 2008 to 2010, and a Program Manager Intern in 2007.

Josh started their career as a Game Developer at the University of Texas from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer at National Instruments in 2005 and 2006.

Josh Leong attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Information Systems.
