Larry Phillips

Larry Phillips has extensive experience in public service and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Commissioner with the Surry County Board since 2012, Larry participates in various local and state committees, including the Surry County DSS and the Surry County Economic Development Partnership. As President Elect of the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners since 2016, Larry engages with county leadership statewide. Additionally, Larry has served as Senior Pastor at Midway Baptist Church since 1990. Previous professional roles include management positions at Brown Wooten Mills and United Overton. Larry holds a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Liberty University.
