Courtney Hotchkiss, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Researcher at North Carolina State University since December 2023, with prior experience as a Planner I - Historic Preservation for the Town of Wake Forest, NC, and as a Historic Preservation Technician at The Great Basin Institute. Courtney has extensive expertise in climate change adaptation for archaeological sites, gained through collaborations with the National Park Service and Tribal Nations during a PhD program at North Carolina State University. Additional roles include Global Change Fellow at the Southeast Climate Adaptation Science Center, Capital Grants Administrator for the Maryland Department of Planning, and various positions with the National Park Service. Academic credentials include a PhD in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management, an M.A. in World Heritage Studies, and a BSc in Global Management.
