Animal Care and Veterinary Services

The Animal Care and Veterinary Services team at the North Carolina Zoo is dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of the over 1,700 animals in our care. This team includes zookeepers, veterinarians, and veterinary technicians who provide daily care, monitoring, and medical treatment to animals while also participating in conservation efforts and wildlife rehabilitation programs. Their expertise and compassionate approach enhance the overall quality of life for the animals and support the Zoo’s mission to protect nature's diversity.
