Operations Team

The Operations Team at North Star BlueScope Steel is responsible for overseeing and managing the production process of hot-rolled bands, ensuring optimal efficiency and adherence to the highest standards of safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Key roles within the team include the Overhead Crane Operator, who handles the movement of heavy materials; the Melt Shop Operations Manager, who supervises the melting and casting processes; the Roll Shop Team Leader, who manages the rolling and finishing operations; and the HSM Maintenance Manager, who ensures the continuous maintenance and upkeep of the hot strip mill. Together, they work to maintain superior surface quality, exceptional gauge control, and overall formability of the steel products.
