Mark Stokes

Mark Stokes is the current director at Northeast Valley Health Corporation. Prior to this, they worked as the Strategic Lead for Coaching and Workforce at team Beds and Luton from October 2011 to June 2014. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing a County Coach Development Plan in line with the requirements of National Governing Bodies (NGBs) and the UK Coaching Framework. Mark also actively engaged and supported coaches at the local and community level by providing training, advice, and support on funding opportunities.

Before their work with team Beds and Luton, Mark had a varied career in the sporting world. Mark has worked as a coach, teacher, and administrator in a variety of settings including schools, universities, and community organizations. Mark has also been involved in designing and delivering coaching programs at both the local and national level.

Mark is a highly experienced and qualified coach, with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Mark holds a Masters degree in Sports Coaching from the University of Birmingham, as well as a number of other coaching qualifications. Mark is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people through sport, and is committed to helping them reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Mark Stokes has a Masters in Community and Sport Development from The University of Bolton and a degree in Mining Engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
