Anna Ackerman is an experienced professional with a strong background in entrepreneurship and social advocacy. Currently serving as the Entrepreneurship Program Manager at The Roux Institute at Northeastern University since December 2021, Anna also founded World to Table in May 2017. Prior to these roles, Anna developed entrepreneurship programs at Coastal Enterprises, Inc. from September 2019 to December 2021 and held the position of Assistant Director at the Oak Institute for Human Rights at Colby College in 2019. Additional experience includes working as a Field Organizer for Senator Angus S. King, Jr. and consulting for Andela. Anna has contributed to gender policy initiatives with THE ATHENA CONSORTIUM and engaged in public advocacy with organizations such as the Maine People’s Alliance and ACLU. Anna holds a Master’s Degree in International Negotiation and Conflict Resolution with a focus on Gender Analysis from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Gender and Women's Studies from Bowdoin College.
