Nelson Brandt

Nelson Brandt is a seasoned aviation professional serving as a B767 First Officer at Northern Air Cargo since January 2023. With extensive experience as a Volunteer Pilot for the Civil Air Patrol since February 2010, Brandt has previously held positions as a First Officer with Amerijet International and World Atlantic Airlines, flying Boeing 757, 767, and MD-80 aircraft. Additionally, Brandt served as a Pilot in the U.S. Coast Guard for two decades. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, an Associate of Science in Airline/Commercial/Professional Pilot and Flight Crew from Miami Dade College, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Miami Herbert Business School. Brandt's foundational education was completed at Culver Academies, where a high school diploma was obtained.
