Eloise Thatcher

Eloise Thatcher is an accomplished professional in the engineering sector, currently serving as Lead Design Engineer at Northern Powergrid since December 2024. Previously, at Energy Systems Catapult from February 2022 to November 2024, Eloise held the position of Systems Engineering Manager, leading a team focused on accelerating the UK's journey to Net Zero through impactful projects and whole systems thinking. Eloise's extensive experience at Rolls-Royce from September 2006 to February 2022 included several leadership roles, such as Assistant Chief Design Engineer for the Trent 1000 TEN and Civil Technology Programmes, where Eloise oversaw technology upgrades and novel engine testing. Eloise holds an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London, obtained in 2006.
