Faron G. Thompson

Faron G. Thompson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in mortgage banking and capital markets. Currently serving as the Regional Managing Director at NorthMarq since March 2020, Faron leads mortgage banking operations and provides capital advisory services across the Southeast U.S. Prior to NorthMarq, Faron held the position of International Director at JLL from March 2011 to March 2020, where industry leadership and innovative financing solutions were emphasized, leveraging strong relationships with top lending sources. Faron's career also includes key roles at Primary Capital Advisors as Co-Founder and Managing Director, and at HomeBanc as a Commercial Loan Officer. Faron holds a BBA in Management and Finance from Mercer University, earned between 1979 and 1983.
