Zaida Flores

Zaida Flores is an Associate Computer Engineer in the Pathways Program at Northrop Grumman, where responsibilities include supporting the development of a simulation ecosystem for tactically relevant scenarios. Prior to this role, Zaida served as Vice President External and Social Chair for the UT Austin Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers from August 2022 to May 2024, and as an Engineering Student Services Ambassador at the Cockrell School of Engineering, providing guidance to students. Experience includes a Power Electronics College Tech Spec position at Lockheed Martin, where contributions involved engineering analysis and documentation, and a banquet serving role at Levy Restaurants. An early internship with AEG, LLC offered exposure to mechanical engineering projects using software like Auto CAD and Revit. Zaida holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained in May 2024.
