Amar Shah

Amar Shah serves as the Chief of the Division of Cardiac Imaging at Northwell Health since September 2015 and holds the position of Cardiac and Thoracic Radiologist at the Sandra Atlas Bass Campus. Additionally, Amar Shah is an Associate Professor at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine, starting in November 2017, and serves as the Director of the Cardiac CTA Education Center with the American College of Radiology since January 2011. Previously, Amar Shah has held roles such as Assistant Professor and Director of Cardiac and Vascular Imaging at New York Medical College from January 2010 to July 2015, and worked at Atlantic Medical Imaging as an Associate from July 2008 to December 2009. Early career experience includes a Clinical Associate and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital, and a residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Amar Shah's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration in Health Finance from New York University, an MD from Stony Brook University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Chicago.
