Dr. Dan Cox

Dr. Dan Cox currently serves as Chief Administrator at Northwest Area Education Agency (AEA) since July 2018 and previously held the position of Superintendent of Schools at Charles City Community School District from July 2013 to June 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Principal and Assistant Principal at Waterloo Community School District from August 2007 to July 2013, and Chief Administrator at Valley Lutheran High School from July 2005 to July 2007. Dr. Cox holds a Ph.D. in Education, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Superintendency, and an Administrator's Certificate in K-12 Principalship, all from Iowa State University, as well as a Master's degree in Spanish: Teaching and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science from the University of Northern Iowa.
