John Gentzel

John Gentzel is an experienced critical care transport nurse, currently serving at Northwest Ambulance Critical Care Transport since May 2023. Prior to this position, John worked as a CCT RN for American Medical Response from April 2017 to May 2023. John's nursing career began with roles as a registered nurse at Good Samaritan, Harbor View Medical, and Inova Loudoun Hospital, as well as experience as an emergency room technician and flight paramedic. Additionally, John served as an adjunct instructor in the Emergency Medical Technician Program at Northern Virginia Community College, contributing to emergency medical education. John holds two Associate of Science degrees from Northern Virginia Community College, one in Registered Nursing and the other in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician.
