Board Governance

The Board Governance team at Northwestern Michigan College is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and policy-making of the institution. Composed of elected board members, including key positions such as the Chair and Treasurer, the team ensures effective governance, fiscal responsibility, and alignment with the college’s mission to provide accessible education and lifelong learning opportunities. They conduct regular meetings to discuss institutional priorities, uphold academic standards, and engage with the community to support educational initiatives.
