Meredith Metzler

Meredith Metzler, PhD, serves as the Assistant Director of Learning Experience at Northwestern Mutual, where responsibilities include defining the strategy for the NMYOU School of Business to enhance business acumen across the organization. Previous roles at Northwestern Mutual involved developing an insights program and leading research initiatives to connect innovation learnings with enterprise strategies. Prior experiences include positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where Metzler contributed to curriculum development and teaching in journalism, as well as editorial roles that emphasized strategic communication and content management at various organizations, including Clark Construction Group and the American Diabetes Association. Educational credentials include a PhD in Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master’s in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University, and a BA in English and Spanish from Carleton College.
