Amel Tounsi

Amel Tounsi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Trésorière at Gazelle4Bio since January 2024 and Chief Executive Officer at Bridge to Health since May 2022, Amel also holds the position of Investment Manager at Noshaq. Previous roles include Chief Operations Officer at Texere Biotech and Project & Development Manager at MaSTherCell, where Amel managed numerous cell therapy projects. Earlier experience as Project Leader at Celyad and Post Doctoral Fellow at DKFZ focused on scientific management and immunoregulatory activities of mesenchymal stem cells. Amel's academic background includes a PhD in Biomedical Studies from Université catholique de Louvain, complemented by an EMBA and various specialized training in management and biotechnology.
