Laura Peterson

Laura Peterson is an experienced legal professional specializing in employment law, currently serving as Employment Counsel at Notion since May 2022. Prior to Notion, Laura held various positions at Zendesk from August 2015 to May 2022, including Associate General Counsel, overseeing Employment, Litigation, and IP, as well as positions of Senior and Corporate Counsel focused on Employment. Laura's early career included work as an Attorney at O'Melveny & Myers LLP and a brief secondment as Counsel for Labor & Employment at Facebook. Additionally, Laura was a Judicial Law Clerk for the U.S. Courts of Appeals and a Legal Intern at the ACLU Foundation of Texas. Laura holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Spanish from Vanderbilt University.
