Owen Turner-Major

Owen Turner-Major is an accomplished Senior Engineer currently employed at Novakid Inc. since September 2024 and previously held the same title at Lingumi from June 2020 to July 2024, contributing to the development of AI-enabled educational platforms for preschool children. As a Co-founder and CTO of Fat Llama from April 2016 to April 2020, Owen was instrumental in creating a fully insured peer-to-peer rental marketplace, successfully raising significant funding. Prior experience includes a Software Engineer role at Funding Xchange, where Owen developed new features, and a Student Software Developer position at Founders & Coders C.I.C., a free coding bootcamp. Owen also interned in marketing and content at Emolument and localization at Goodgame Studios. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and German from the University of Oxford and ongoing studies in Machine Learning at the MLX Institute.
